Bennett’s 2015 investment in the only 6-color, single-pass, production-speed, direct-to-sheet digital press in North America is changing the way their clients do business.
When printing digitally, no print plates or litho-labels are needed to complete a project. This printer not only reduces raw materials, but increases speed to market, and decreases the overall waste—all while providing the high quality print output expected from litho-labels.
From a marketing perspective, brands/marketers can now include target-specific messaging and/or visuals when designing their retail packaging and displays.
The creative design of the package/display can change with each order, or even within each run, at no additional investment. An example of a target-specific marketing promotion Bennett completed with their digital press is the NCAA Division I Football Sunglasses promotion for Legacy Brands.
Bennett produced the total order of displays, which consisted of 29 different artwork variations, in one run.
Each pallet skirt, as well as the packaging, was unique to the team and special to the market the display would be placed.
In addition to Bennett’s production capabilities, their portfolio of services makes them a turnkey, path-to-purchase partner.
Their full-service design team is award-winning and includes structural and graphic designers as well as a testing lab. Bennett has also recently expanded their contract packaging division, which provides packaging/display assembly, pack-out and distribution.
